Kids love Pizza. Mums can make topping healthy, but what about Base ?
Sure, Whole Wheat base is better than Maida. But making it Super Healthy is our job.
I have Used Dals as my Pizza crust, and assorted vegetables toppings with kids favorite,Cheese.
Every mum wants the best for her kids and especially when kids want junk food but mum wants Healthy Food.
Believe me, Kids will love this one too.

Ingredients

  1. 1/4 cup For the Crust moong dal powder
  2. 1/4 cupurad dal powder
  3. 1 tablespoonbesan
  4. 1 tablespoonRawa
  5. 1 tablespoonRice flour
  6. to tasteSalt
  7. 1/4 teaspoonred chilli powder
  8. as neededWater
  9. 1 large CapsicumToppings
  10. 1large tomato
  11. 1small onion
  12. 1/2 cupPaneer cubes,
  13. 1/4 teaspoonPizza Oregano,
  14. 1/4 teaspoonGarlic bread seasoning,
  15. 1/4 teaspoonThyme,,
  16. to tasteSalt
  17. 1/4 teaspoonRed chilli flakes,
  18. 1/4 teaspoonTandoori masala,
  19. 2 tablespoonTomato ketchup or sauce,
  20. as neededOil,

Steps

  1. 1

    For the crust, mix together moong dal powder, urad dal powder, rawa, besan, rice flour.

  2. 2

    Add in salt and red chilli powder.

  3. 3

    Put in water to make a thick, smooth paste consistency batter

  4. 4

    Let it rest for 10 minutes.

  5. 5

    Adjust water again if the batter becomes too thick.

  6. 6

    Heat a non stick pan.

  7. 7

    Put in little oil.

  8. 8

    Spread about 4 tablespoons of batter to make about 1/4 inch pancake.

  9. 9

    Cook both sides on low flame with a lid on.

  10. 10

    They should turn golden brown.

  11. 11

    With a round cookie cutter, cut out 3 to 4 roundels of about 3 inches diameter.

    Preheat the oven at 180 degrees for 10 minutes.

    Now ready the topping.

  14. 14

    Finely chop the onion, capsicum, tomato.

  15. 15

    Add in paneer cubes.

  16. 16

    Sprinkle all seasonings.

  17. 17

    Mix gently.

  18. 18

    Topping is ready.

    Apply little ketchup or sauce on the pizzettes.

    Spread 2 tablespoon of toppings.

    Sprinkle grated cheese all over.

    Pop in the hot oven and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes.

    Remove and serve hot.

    (Add toppings of your choice.)
