Ingredients

  • 1hallibut or salmon fish head or any fish fillet
  • 1 cupwater
  • easy and simple diy curry
  • 2 tbspoil
  • 2large shallot fine dice
  • 2 tbspgarlic fine dice
  • 3 tspeach of turmeric powder and chili powder
  • 1 tbsplight soy sauce or fish sauce and pepper
  • 1 tbsplemon or lime or kalamansi juice
  • 1 cupfine chop each cilantro stem and leaf
  • 1 canitalian tomato and tomato juice

    With oil sautee garlic, shallot, cilantro stem, turmeric powder, chili powder, salt and pepper till soft about 15 minute cover lid adding 2 tbsp of water when starting to get dry bit by bit in low heat stir occasionally

    Add tomato and juice, cilantro leaf, and lemon juice mix well cover lid let it simmer another 10 minute then add sauce and mash tomato

  3. 3

    Add hallibut or salmon or any fish and coat evenly with sauce and add water and cover lid for 10 minute occasionally shake the pan

Anything made primarily with a fish head has got to be delicious. If Thai, I would have expected coconut milk, lemongrass, Thai basil, lime, chili, etc. Vietnamese, some palm sugar, ginger root, chili. Turmeric makes me think Malaysian, but then nutmeg, lemongrass, etc. The recipe seems incomplete to me.
