Ingredients

  • 1 cupripe tamarind with seeds
  • 2 cupcamote (sweet potato) boiled and mashed
  • 2 cupsugar
  • 1 cupwater with 1 tsp. salt

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix the ingredients in a heavy pan.

  2. 2

    Cook in moderate fire.

  3. 3

    Stir constantly until mixture becomes very thick and can be formed or shaped.

  4. 4

    Transfer into a big platter

  5. 5

    Form into balls and roll in sugar.
