This is a traditional dish in Malta, it can be made using any fish however I would suggest trying it with Mahi mahi / dolphin fish, which to my opinion makes it even better

Ingredients

4 servings
  1. 1large onion (finely chopped)
  2. 3 clovegarlic (finely chopped)
  3. 1/2 cupoil
  4. 2 1/2 tbsptomato paste
  5. 2knorr fish cubes
  6. 1 1/2 literwater
  7. salt
  8. ground black pepper
  9. basil
  10. mint
  11. marjoram
  12. 1fish

Cooking Instructions

    Put onions, garlic and oil in a medium pot and cook until onions are translucent. Then add tomato paste, stir and let cook for around a minute.

    Add fish cube and water or around 1 1/2 litres fish stock.

    Add salt, pepper, basil, mint, and marjoram

    Add fish and bring soup to boil, letting it boil for around 30 minutes

  5. 5

    Remove fish and remove bones, then throw meat back into soup. Can be served with rice
