Ingredients

4 servings
  • For dough :
  • 2 cupsWhole wheat flour
  • 2 tbspRava/Suji
  • to tasteSalt
  • For filling :
  • 1 cupSpring onion chopped
  • 3-4Boiled potatoes (cut in small dices)
  • 3-4Green chilies finely chopped
  • 1 tspCoriander powder
  • 1/2 tspGaram Masala
  • 1 tspRed chilli powder
  • 4-5 tspTomato sauce
  • to tasteSalt
  • as neededOil for shallow fry

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix flour, Suji & salt in a bowl. Make tight dough using water. Knead it properly.

  2. 2

    Heat 2 tsp oil in a wok. Add spring onion. Saute well. Cook on high flame for 5 minutes. Add potatoes dices, all spices along with green chillies. Saute all until all ingredients mix well.turn off flame. Let it cool on room temperature.

  3. 3

    Take big lemon size dough. Flatten it with roller pin like thick chapati using dry flour. Now stuff filling in half portion of chapati & brush water on edges. Fold it.

  4. 4

    Heat griddle. Place the parantha on it. Cook it over medium flame. Press it with spatula. Pour oil on edges. Cook it until crispy on both sides.

  5. 5

    Cut in half & serve with curd or any chutney.Cut in half & serve with curd or any chutney.
