The infamous Shrimp Linguine cheat!

I'd been promising my daughter that I would make Clam Linguine. But in a mad rush for a late dinner I realized that didn't have clams, and I didn't have enough linguine... In fact, I didn't have hardly any of the right ingredients...So? I improvised...
This came out so good that it had my kids arguing. Even my picky little one cleaned his plate and went for seconds. They ate whole skillet full in the same night!

Cooking Instructions
- 1
Boil pasta in 6-8 cups of water until al dente (I like to get my pasta started right away).
- 2
On medium heat, pour soup in a large skillet or pot. Add the water and stir until smooth.
- 3
Add butter and stir in a 1/2 cup of milk until well blended.
- 4
Add onion powder, garlic powder, pepper and Italian seasoning.
- 5
Bring sauce to a slight boil and reduce the heat to low for 5-7 minutes. This will allow the sauce to thicken. Once thickened, add the shrimp.
- 6
Turn the heat just below medium. The sauce will absorb the flavor of the shrimp.
- 7
Once you see the shrimp begin to turn pink, stir in the cheese and reduce the heat to low for 5-10 minutes until the sauce thickens to your preference. Serve with pasta of your choice!

This is an easy dish to whip up quickly for a weeknight dinner. It is flavorful, and also feels just a little bit fancy. You can add more heat by increasing the amount of red pepper flakes, and/or you could sprinkle it with a little Parmesan cheese when you serve it.The original recipe came from the Food Network.#Dinner #Seafood #Noodles Chris Gan -

Shrimp and bacon linguine in sour cream sauce Shrimp and bacon linguine in sour cream sauce
About a week ago I made a bacon and shrimp pasta with creamy pesto. Not surprisingly, it went over well. I didn't realize just how well, though, until this evening, when my wife pulled out even more shrimp and another package of bacon and asked for an encore. I don't really like repeating myself, at least not so soon, so I told her I wouldn't be making the exact same dish, but I'd try to make something equally delicious. For inspiration, I looked to my favourite flavour of potato chip (seriously). Weird origin aside, I think I succeeded. Robert Gonzal
