Ingredients

  • 1 tbspChili powder
  • 1/2 tbspBlack pepper
  • 1/2 tbspGarlic Powder
  • 1/2 tbspOnion Powder
  • 1/2 tbspCoarse Kosher Salt
  • 1 tspCumin
  • 1/2 tspPaprika
  • 1/4 cupChopped Fresh Cilantro
  • 1 canDiced Tomatoes
  • 1 canTomato Paste
  • 1 canGreen Chilis
  • 5 cupHomemade pinto beans, undrained
  • 2 eachChopped Chipolte
  • 2 lbTop round beef, small cubes

Steps

1 hour
  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients, except beef, in a pot and simmer medium low heat.

  2. 2

    While simmering, cook beef with a small amount of the listed seasons until browned.

  3. 3

    Drain beef then add to bean mixture.

  4. 4

    Simmer at medium heat stirring occasionally for 30 min.
