  1. 1 lbBulk spicy Italian sausage
  2. 1 cupChopped onion
  3. 2 cupCelery
  4. 1 mediumGreen pepper chopped
  5. 2 tbspSugar
  6. 2 tspSalt
  7. 1/2 tspOf each of the following basil dried oregano and pepper
  8. 1 quartCanned tomatoes cut up
  9. 1 canTomato juice
  10. 4 cupDiced zucchini
  11. 1Grated Parmesan cheese

Steps

  1. 1

    In Dutch oven brown the sausage with onion, drain excess fat. Add The next 9 ingredients, cover and simmer one hour. Stir in zucchini and simmer 10 minutes. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if desired

    If to thick add water
