  1. 1/4savoy cabbage, cored and big veins removed and leaves chopped into inch square pieces
  2. 1/2 tbspolive oil
  3. 1 tbspflaked almonds
  4. 2 tbspraisins
  5. 1salt and black pepper
  6. 1/4 tspmixed spice

Steps

    Heat the oil to medium, add the almonds and stir until browning a little.

  2. 2

    Add the raisins, cabbage and a splash of water

  3. 3

    Put the lid on the pan and cook, shaking the pan and stirring occasionally for 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Towards the end of the five minutes add the mixed spice.

  5. 5

    Season well with salt and black pepper before serving.

I have a very similar recipe, and trust me folks, this is good stuff. cabbage is inexpensive, and good for you. great recipe!
