Avocado and Lemon Smoothie

This tangy smoothie is yummy, filling and may even help prevent cancer!
The avocado, which is one of the main ingredients, also reduces the risk of liver damage and Vitamin K deficiency-related bleeding. It helps promote eye health and protecting the skin from signs of aging and the harmful effects of UV rays. It also helps in maintaining blood sugar levels and has antioxidant properties. It even helps to increase circulation, boost cognitive abilities, and build stronger bones!
On top of that, lemon is a good treatment of indigestion, constipation, dental problems, throat infections, fever, internal bleeding, rheumatism, burns, obesity, respiratory disorders, cholera, and high blood pressure. But it most be noted that you should be careful with your intake of lemon, especially if you suffer from ulcers, to avoid issues such as heartburn.

Ingredients

1/2 servings
  1. 1lemon
  2. 1avocado
  3. 1banana
  4. 4ice cubes
  5. 1small cup of vanilla yoghurt
  6. 2 tbsphoney
  7. pinchcinammon powder

Steps

  1. 1

    Chop up the banana and avocado into cubes and drop into the blender

  2. 2

    Cut out the fleshy bits of the lemon, doing your best to remove the seeds, and drop it into the blender. (As opposed to squeezing out the juice, we will include everything in order to keep all the nutrients from the lemon)

  3. 3

    Pour ice cubes into the blender

  4. 4

    Pour yoghurt into blender

  5. 5

    Sprinkle cinnamon into mixture

  6. 6

    Pour a sprinkle of cinammon and blend until the mixture is completely creamy and blended

  7. 7

    Enjoy!
