Ingredients

  1. 2chicken legs
  2. 4longanisa (Filipino Sausage)
  3. 1/4 cupchopped green onion
  4. 1/4 cupchopped basil
  5. 10 stickthyme
  6. 1/4 cupcilantro
  7. 1/2 tbspfennel
  8. 1/2 tsporegano
  9. 1/2 tspgarlic salt
  10. 1ground black pepper
  11. 1/4 tspcayenne pepper
  12. 1salt
  13. 1sea salt

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat oven to 350°F

  2. 2

    De-bone chicken legs if needed. Season inside meat with salt and pepper. Put aside.

    In a bowl, mix together longanisa (skin removed), green onion, basil, cilantro, thyme, oregano, fennel, ground black pepper, garlic salt, and cayenne. Divide mixture in half.

    Wrap sausage mixture inside the chicken leg.

  5. 5

    Score outside of chicken leg then tie with twine. Season with sea salt to crisp the skin.

    Bake in oven for about 45 minutes then broil on high for about 2 minutes.
