Put water in a sufuria place it on heat and allow it to boil

When the water boils add the unga slowly till you make a porridge like mixture as you stir (this is to prevent lumps from forming)

Keep adding the unga to make it solid...keep mixing (known as folding- where you mix the unga with the water to make ugali)

Cook it for 10-15min till it produces a cake like smell.

Serve on a different surface and enjoy with any accompaniments of your choice.
