Cake Batter Cookies

I have always loved Ben and Jerry's cake Batter ice cream. After making these I realized I now had the same thing, but in a cookie. They taste just like it! Except not ice cream. Lol

I have always loved Ben and Jerry's cake Batter ice cream. After making these I realized I now had the same thing, but in a cookie. They taste just like it! Except not ice cream. Lol
Steps
- 1
I love more of the sugar cookie, with hints of chocolate:) so I don't put a ton of choc chips. So you can add more to your liking. I do a mix of semi sweet and milk choc. Different brands. Taste so good! Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- 2
In a large bowl mix together the cake mix and baking powder.
- 3
In a small bowl whisk together eggs, oil, and vanilla extract.
- 4
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir until combined. Continue to mix batter until there are no more chunks of dry cake mix. Stir in chocolate chips.
- 5
Drop rounded tablespoons of batter onto baking sheets, or form slightly patted balls. Make sure the balls are at least 2 inches away from each other because they will spread out a little when baking. I made mine a little bigger, for a bigger cookie:)
- 6
Bake for 10 minutes and take out of the oven to let continue cooking on baking sheet. After a few minutes, transfer to a wire rack. Let cool😎 Also, if you have time...refrigerate the dough once mixed for about an hour before baking.
