Sweet & Spicy Rub

This rub is great on just about everything and is not too spicy as written. Spice it up more by adding more cayenne.

Cooking Instructions
- 1
In a food processor (or large ziplock baggie or bowl) measure out the dark brown sugar and the paprika. It is necessary to make sure all lumps are worked out and that the paprika is mixed evenly with the brown sugar.
- 2
Once the mixture is smooth in texture continue to add 1 dry ingredient at a time mixing well each time and smashing any lumps with a fork or fingers if not using a processor.
- 3
Makes approximately 2 cups of rub. Store in a dry, airtight container.

Sweet & Spicy Chili Sweet & Spicy Chili
I have been making this recipe for more than 20 years. I'm so happy to say that this amazing dish has been a favorite of my 3 children. I love to serve this on a semi-cold Texas winter night with sweet corn bread. You must have shredded sharp cheddar cheese, sour cream, and corn chips to top it off! Deborah Abrahamson -
