Wash 6 to 8 hours soaked chana/ chickpeas add them to pressure cooker along with 3 to 4 cups water some salt ginger 1 onion diced clove elaichi and pressure cook it until it becomes soft.

In fry pan add ghee butter hing cumin onion remaining tejpatta clove elaichi green chilli a daalchini.saute it for 6 to 7 min.

Add Tomatoes red chilli powder coriander powder turmeric powder chana masala and saute it for 10 min.

Add cooked chickpeas/chana into pan and if needed add salt to taste.cook this for 5 to 10 min.

Sprinkle kasoori methi and again stir.Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot chana masala with rice naan or butter roti.
