Bacon Fat Candle

I have an uncle who is obsessed with bacon (who isn't?). I make these candles for my pork loving friends and family so they can fill their home with the intoxicating scent of cooking bacon!
Bacon Fat Candle
I have an uncle who is obsessed with bacon (who isn't?). I make these candles for my pork loving friends and family so they can fill their home with the intoxicating scent of cooking bacon!
Steps
- 1
Every time you prepare bacon, drain the grease into any size mason jar. I usually use the smaller ones.
- 2
Keep jar in the refrigerator in the meantime, between additions.
- 3
Once the jar is full, you are ready to add the wick. Use a small drill bit and drill a hole in the center of the candle.
- 4
Fill around the wick with a little more bacon grease. Add a ribbon, or decorate any way you want.
