Ingredients

  1. 1.1 lbspici pasta (500 grams)
  2. 1small jar good-quality Genovese pesto
  3. Grated Parmesan cheese, for sprinkling
  4. Salt, to taste

Steps

  1. 1

    Cook the pici in a large pot of boiling salted water for about 7 minutes.

  2. 2

    Pour the pesto into a bowl and add 2–3 tablespoons of hot pasta water.

  3. 3

    Drain the pici well, then toss thoroughly with the pesto until the pasta is nicely coated. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and serve!
