Ingredients

2 1/8 cupwheat flour
2 cupswhite sugar
3/4 cupunsweetened cocoa
1 1/2ts baking powder
3/4ts baking soda
3/4ts salt
3eggs
1 cupmilk
1/2 cupvegetable oil
1 TBvanilla extract
700 gramsdark chocolate

Steps

Preheat oven 175 degrees Celsius. Grease a large baking tin,cover bottom with waxed paper.

In a bowl,combine flour,2 cups sugar,cocoa,baking powder,baking soda and salt.

Add eggs,milk,oil and 1 TB vanilla.Beat till well blended,pour batter into prepared baking tin.

Bake for 35 min or until wooden toothpick inserted in centre comes out clean.Cool cake in tin on wire rack for ten minutes,loosen edges,remove to racks and cool completely.

Meanwhile cut 3/4 of the chocolate and place in a tin in hot water (double boiler method) or put in a microwave to melt.

Cut the top part of the cake to even out.Spread the chocolate over the cake.

Grate the remaining chocolate on the cake to act as shavings.Garnish with Oreo cookies.

Cut a slice and enjoy.
