Ingredients

  • 1 lbcooked ground beef (I use ground chuck)
  • 1 smalldiced onion
  • 1(15 ounce) can diced tomatoes including the juice from the can
  • 1(15 ounce) can of beans rinsed and drained
  • 1 1/2 cupJimmy Luv's Bloody Mary Mix (or your favorite kind)

Steps

  1. 1

    Mix all ingredients in a large pot and bring to a boil.

  2. 2

    Reduce heat to low and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  3. 3

    To serve, ladle into large serving bowls.

  4. 4

    Top with shredded cheese, sour cream, raw onions if desired.

  5. 5

    *Sometimes I add cooked elbow macaroni just to do something different.*

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old. I volunteer for a dog rescue and a shelter, as well as other festivals and organizations.
