Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbflank steak, cut across across the grain into 3/4" wide strips
  • 1/2 cupsoy sauce
  • 1/4 cupbrown sugar
  • 2 tbspolive oil
  • 1 tbspscant - sherry or dry vermouth
  • 1 tspgarlic paste
  • 1 tspginger paste
  • 1 tspchili paste
  • 1/2 tsppepper

Steps

  1. 1

    Place all ingredients in plastic bag and marinate 4-24 hours.

  2. 2

    Preheat broiler and spray cookie sheet with non stick cooking spray.

  3. 3

    Remove meat from marinade and discard marinade. Skewer beef, being sure not to overcrowd.

  4. 4

    Broil 6" from heat, about 4-5 minutes per side for medium.
