Ingredients

  1. 2 cupSelf Rising Flour
  2. 1 stickButter (Not Margarine!!) Softened to room tempature
  3. 1/2 cupDark Brown Sugar, Packed
  4. 1/2 cupGranulated Sugar
  5. 2Eggs, Room Tempature
  6. 1/2 cupSour Cream (or You can use vanilla or plain yogurt)
  7. 4 largeBananas, Very Ripe
  8. 1 tspBaking Soda
  9. 1/2 cupchopped nuts
  10. 1/2 cupMini Chocolate Chips (Optional)
  11. 2 tspVanilla Extract

Cooking Instructions

    Preheat Oven to 325°F.

    Butter 2 loaf pans very well.

    Cream Butter

  4. 4

    Add granulated sugar & beat well.

  5. 5

    Add brown sugar & mix well.

  6. 6

    Add both eggs & combine until sugars are no longer grainy. Mix maybe 3-4 minutes.

    Add Sour Cream & mix well.

  8. 8

    Add baking soda to flour & sift the flour mixture together.

  9. 9

    Add flour gradually to the butter mixture.

  10. 10

    Mash bananas with a fork, add to your batter. Mix bananas into batter with mixer on low until just combined.

    Add Vanilla Extract, nuts, & chocolate chips. Mix on low speed until just combined.

  12. 12

    Bake at 325F, for 60-75 minutes. It is done when You put a toothpick into center of bread & it comes out clean, or just a few crumbs on it.
