This was an "oh no, what shall I make for dinner" recipe. I slapped together some things in the kitchen, and it worked so well I thought I'd share :)

Ingredients

1 hour
2 servings
  1. Meatballs
  2. 1/2 cupbreadcrumbs
  3. 1/2 cupmilk
  4. 1egg
  5. 1 tbspsoy sauce
  6. 500 gramslean Turkey mince
  7. 4 tspSesame seed oil
  8. 3 tbspSesame seeds
  9. Noodle Soup
  10. 1200 mlchicken or vegetable stock
  11. 2 tsplime juice
  12. 2 tspgarlic paste
  13. 2nests of noodles
  14. 1 tbspsoy sauce
  15. 2 tbspcorn flour
  16. 1oriental vegetables, enough for 4 people. I just get a pre packaged oriental mix from the supermarket.
  17. 4 tspchili

Cooking Instructions

1 hour
  1. 1

    Preheat oven to 180

  2. 2

Mix milk and breadcrumbs together in a bowl. Leave to sit for 5 minutes.

  3. 3

Add the rest of the meatball ingredients to the milk and breadcrumb mixture, and mix gently.

  4. 4

Shape into meatballs - you should be able to make around 5 medium sized meatballs per person.

  5. 5

Bake for approximately 30 minutes, or until they start to go golden brown around the edges.

  6. 6

For the soup: Mix all ingredients except the corn flour, noodles, and vegetables in a large saucepan.

  7. 7

Stir everything together, and when the liquid is at boiling point, add your meatballs and vegetables.

  8. 8

Add your noodles after 5 minutes. Cook for as long as required on the packaging.

  9. 9

In a separate bowl have your corn flour ready. Use a large spoon to remove some of the liquid from your pan and mix it in the dish with the corn flour. Do this until you have a thick, but still pourable flour and stock mixture. Add to your soup.

  10. 10

    Cook for another 2-3 minutes.

  11. 11

    Serve and enjoy!
