Ingredients

  • 1pie crust (I used pillsbury)
  • 1large apple, sliced or chopped (skin on or off,it's up to you)
  • 1/2Fresh lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 tspsugar
  • 1 tbspbrown sugar
  • 1 1/2 tspground cinnamon
  • 2 tbspapricot jam (or any jam you'd like)
  • 1 1/2 tbspchopped pecans
  • drizzle of caramel sauce
  • dusting of powder sugar
  • 1 tbspmelted unsalted butter

Steps

  1. 1

    In a bowl, mix together the white and brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, pecans and apples.

  2. 2

    Roll out pie crust on a pizza pan, or baking sheet.

  3. 3

    Spread jam on the pie crust.

  4. 4

    Lay your apple mixture on the pie crust, leaving about an inch from the edges.

  5. 5

    You can sprinkle more cinnamon on if you like, then fold up the edges of the pie crust. Lightly baste the edges of crust with melted butter.

  6. 6

    Bake at 400°F for about 35-40 min or until golden brown.

  7. 7

    Let cool for 10 min after removing from oven. Drizzle with caramel sauce and Dusting of powder sugar.

  8. 8

    Move to cooling rack to cool completely.
