Ingredients

  1. Chicken breasts (with bones, cut in half)
  2. {marinade}
  3. 2 tbspsoy sauce
  4. 1 tbspOyster sauce
  5. 1 tspsalt
  6. 1.5 tsppepper
  7. 2 tbspChinese rice wine
  8. 1 tspsesame seed oil
  9. 1 tspchicken powder
  10. 1 tspfish sauce
  11. {to cook}
  12. 3 clovesgarlic
  13. Thinly sliced ginger
  14. 2 cupswater
  15. 1 cupwolf berries
  16. 1 tbspcooking caramel
  17. 1 tspsesame seed oil
  18. 1 tbspsugar

Steps

  1. 1

    Marinade chicken for at least 20 minutes

  2. 2

    Heat cooking oil, saute garlic and ginger until fragrant

  3. 3

    Pour Marinated chicken and sauce into pan/wok, cook for 20 minutes till chicken is cooked through. Skim off fat and oil off surface of sauce

  4. 4

    Add cooking caramel for sweetness and color, wolf berries, sugar and water. Cook for 7 to 10 minutes

  5. 5

    Add sesame seed oil, taste and adjust seasoning according to your liking, off heat (with cover on) and cool

  6. 6

    Serve with cooked rice and steamed vegetables

  7. 7

    Please adjust seasoning to your own preference and ENJOY!
