Rava idli (suji ki idli)

Today we will make Rava idli or suji ki idli. This quick & easy version of the famous South-indian breakfast is delicious as the regular fer- mented one which made using urad dal and rice / idli rava batter. You can make this idli using eno or baking soda totally your call.

Today we will make Rava idli or suji ki idli. This quick & easy version of the famous South-indian breakfast is delicious as the regular fer- mented one which made using urad dal and rice / idli rava batter. You can make this idli using eno or baking soda totally your call.

To make the idli batter, ist taking a bowl and add some suji or rava

Add same amount of curd.

Add salt as per taste.

Add some normal water.

Rest for 15 minuts..

Just before steaming, add 1tbsp. Baking powder & 1 tbs. ENO salt.

When the bubbles from,.mix gently.

Now Grease idli plates with oil..

Pour a little batter into each greased idli mould and steam for 7 to 8 minutes or till the idli are cooked.

Cool slightly, de mould and serve immediately with sambhar & coconut Chutney...
