1large, fresh bread roll or 2 thick slices of fresh farmhouse bread
1 tbspbutter
3thick slices of cheddar cheese
2thick slices of roasted ham
1ripe tomato, at room temperature, quartered
5 sliceof fresh cucumber
2dill pickles
2 tbspof any chutneys you choose...the kind you can buy at farmer's markets are perfect

Butter the roll, put the cheese in it.

Put it on the plate and arrange all the other ingredients around the plate.

Serve with a pinta beer, outdoors in a beautiful spot, if possible :)
