Ingredients

40 minutes

6 servings

1 lbground beef
1small onions, chopped
1 clovegarlic, minced
2 tspchili powder
2 tspsalt
1 tspground cumin
1 tsppepper
1 tsporegano
1 can (28 oz)diced tomatoes
1 can (28 oz)tomato sauce
1 can (16 oz)red kidney beans, drained
1/2 cuppacked light brown sugar
1 lbelbow macaroni, cooked

40 minutes

In a large saute pan, soften onions and garlic.

Add ground beef and brown, about 10 minutes.

Add chili powder, salt, cumin, pepper, and oregano. Cook for 2 minutes.

Add tomatoes, beans, and brown sugar

Bring to a boil

Lower heat and simmer, uncovered, for 30 minutes

Let stand for 10 minutes

Serve over cooked macaroni. Garnish with sour cream and cheese, if desired
