Chop your bacon up into even chunks

In a large skillet, heat up bacon. Stir occasionally. You want your bacon to cook through, but don't not let it crisp up too much.

As your bacon cooks, chop up your potatoes into even chunks. Once bacon is and ready, add potato chunks and blend well. Your potatoes will cook in the bacon fat.

Add salt, pepper, onion salt, and basil. Blend well.

As your potatoes heat up, chop up your sausage and then add them to the pan.

Stir well, let everything heat and blend together. After 2 minutes, cover and reduce heat for 18 minutes.

Then, after 18mins pass, remove lid, increase heat and stir in milk and flour. Let all the ingredients blend together. Heat for another minute so milk and flour blend well. Then, once again, cover and reduce heat for 5 more minutes.

Helpful tip: Check your potatoes before turning off heat. Depending on how large your chunks are cut, they may need to simmer a little longer to cook through.
