Steps
- 1
Chop peppers, onion and garlic. Set inside food processor.
- 2
Remove all seeds from pomegranate and run through a juicer. Will produce roughly 4-5 ounces of juice with no pulp or seeds.
- 3
add all items (except pom juice)and just enough vinegar to the food processor and let it chop as fine as it will get.
- 4
Simmer pomegranate juice on low, stirring frequently, until you notice it is just starting to thicken up. Just trying to evaporate some of the water from the juice.
- 5
add all items to pomegranate juice and simmer on very low for about half an hour. Let cool completely then strain with cheesecloth or coffee filters.
- 6
Gives a nice sweet note right up front and then the habs take it from there. Very interesting flavor. My new favorite of my homemades!
