Ingredients

  1. 1 cupssugar
  2. 2eggs
  3. 1 cupsmolasses
  4. 2 teaspoonsbaking soda
  5. 1/4 teaspoonscloves
  6. 1/2 cupsbutter
  7. 1/2 teaspoonscinnamon
  8. 2 teaspoonsginger
  9. 21/2 cupssifted flour
  10. 1 cupshot water not boiling

Steps

  1. 1

    Cream butter and sugar

  2. 2

    Add beaten eggs molasses water

  3. 3

    Add sifted dry ingredients mix well

  4. 4

    Pour into 13 x 9 pan bake at 350 for 45 minutes
