Ingredients

  1. 1 1/2 tbsppacked brown sugar
  2. 1 packages(12 ounces) frozen sweet cherries (divided)
  3. 1/2 cupkirschwasser
  4. 1bottle (750 milliliters) Pinot Nior, chilled
  5. 1 packages(6 ounces) blackberries
  6. 1orange, halved and thinly sliced
  7. 1ice cubes
  8. 1fresh basil leaves
  9. 3 cupCherry 7Up, chilled

Steps

  1. 1

    Place half the cherries, the brown sugar and kirschwasser in a large pitcher.

  2. 2

    Stir and toss until sugar is dissolved.

  3. 3

    Stir in wine, blackberries and orange.

  4. 4

    Chill for at least 2 hours.

  5. 5

    Just before you serve it, stir in Cherry 7Up and remaining cherries.

  6. 6

    Serve over ice.

  7. 7

    Gently bruise the basil leaves with your fingers to release aroma.

  8. 8

    Add basil to glasses.

  9. 9

    ENJOY!!!

Some of my favorite things are family, friends, my pets, cooking, baking, football (Badger & Packer), Brewer baseball, college basketball, car racing, thrift stores, volunteering, and rummage sales. I have a 9 year old rescue dog, and 7 birds ( 6 are rescue) and they range in age from 1 year to over 19 years old. I volunteer for a dog rescue and a shelter, as well as other festivals and organizations.
