Place half the cherries, the brown sugar and kirschwasser in a large pitcher.

Stir and toss until sugar is dissolved.

Stir in wine, blackberries and orange.

Chill for at least 2 hours.

Just before you serve it, stir in Cherry 7Up and remaining cherries.

Serve over ice.

Gently bruise the basil leaves with your fingers to release aroma.

Add basil to glasses.
