Ingredients

  • 15 ozCan Butter Beans, Drained
  • 6 tbspButter
  • 1/4 cupSmoked deli Sliced Ham Or Leftover Ham Finely Chopped.
  • 1/4 cupFinely Chopped Onion
  • 1A Very Light Sprinkle Of Brown Sugar (Optional)
  • Salt and Black Pepper

Steps

  1. 1

    In a medium sized pan, melt 2 Tablespoons butter. Add the ham and cook until nice and browned.

  2. 2

    Add 2 more Tablespoons of butter to pan and add your onions. Cook until translucent.

  3. 3

    Add butter beans, remaining 2 Tablespoons butter and a light sprinkle of Brown sugar. Toss and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  4. 4
