Rosemary Garlic Oil

I love making my own oils! This one being one of my favs. :-) Good for chicken, fish or whatever calls for olive oil in a savory dish with herbal notes.

I love making my own oils! This one being one of my favs. :-) Good for chicken, fish or whatever calls for olive oil in a savory dish with herbal notes.
Steps
- 1
Peel garlic cloves and put in bottom of bottle. Cut to fit cloves into the bottle if necessary.
- 2
Add rinsed, fresh rosemary sprigs to fill the bottle. I used about 8 or 9 from my plant.
- 3
Fill the bottle with olive oil to the top and cap.
- 4
**Recommendations**
- 5
Place this bottle in a sunny kitchen window for a couple hours a day if you have one. I tend to have better results with more flavor faster.
- 6
It may take a couple of weeks in order for you to develop the full strength/flavor of this oil. Shake the bottle every once in a while to make sure the flavors meld.
- 7
You may want to store your beautiful oil in the fridge as well in order to help prevent bacterial growth.
