Ingredients

  1. 2blood oranges, rind removed and cut to 1/4" thickness
  2. 2graham crackers, finely crushed
  3. 2 tspsugar
  4. 1 tbspbutter, softened
  5. 1*Cream*
  6. 1 cupheavy cream or whipping cream
  7. 4mint leaves, finely chopped
  8. 1 tspcardamom
  9. 3 tsporange juice
  10. 2 tspsugar
  11. 1 tspvanilla extract
  12. 1mint leaves to garnish

Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

Slice blood oranges 1/4" thick after rind has been removed or as thick as you like.

  2. 2

Add all cream ingredients to a mixer bowl (I used my stand mixer) and mix at medium high speed until cream forms stiff peaks, usually anywhere from 5 to 7 minutes. You could also use a hand mixer/beater for this as well if you dont have a stand mixer. Just beat the cream ingredients on high speed until stiff peaks form.

  3. 3

Combine graham cracker crumbs, butter and sugar. Spoon into the bottom of a bowl or dessert dish.

  4. 4

Top graham cracker crumbs with whipped cream.

  5. 5

Lay blood oranges on top of whipped cream and garnish with mint leaves. Enjoy!
