Minted Blood Orange Dessert
Found some beautiful blood oranges I needed to do something with and this was the result..who said playing with your food was a bad thing?! :-P
Cooking Instructions
- 1
Slice blood oranges 1/4" thick after rind has been removed or as thick as you like.
- 2
Add all cream ingredients to a mixer bowl (I used my stand mixer) and mix at medium high speed until cream forms stiff peaks, usually anywhere from 5 to 7 minutes. You could also use a hand mixer/beater for this as well if you dont have a stand mixer. Just beat the cream ingredients on high speed until stiff peaks form.
- 3
Combine graham cracker crumbs, butter and sugar. Spoon into the bottom of a bowl or dessert dish.
- 4
Top graham cracker crumbs with whipped cream.
- 5
Lay blood oranges on top of whipped cream and garnish with mint leaves. Enjoy!

German Dessert: Orange & Grapefruit Tart German Dessert: Orange & Grapefruit Tart
This is a variation on my strawberry and blueberry tart.I always make this tart with berries, so this time I made a citrus fruit version. It turned out to be really delicious, so I'm really satisfied! For the juice used to make the gelatin, use the juice from the orange and grapefruit that gathers in the bottom of the bowl.Gelatin does not set in pineapple juice, so use another type of juice. Mango Dessert Mango Dessert
My city has been quite hot these days. So I wanted to make something refreshing and cool in the afternoon. Mangoes are in season and I prefer to use arumanis or gedong mangoes for that. Any sweet mangoes that you can find in the market should be okay. You can also use juice sold in tetra paks or bottles. Angela Mertoyono -
Cold Dessert Chocolate Bavarois Cold Dessert Chocolate Bavarois
I often make chocolate bavarois, but I thought topping with chocolate syrup and cornflakes would be a fun and enjoyable texture, so I created this recipe! Since I didn't want to the chocolate syrup to be heavy, I put cream bavarois between the two chocolate layers. It looks nice and cool even from the appearance. Please remove from the bowl during Step 3 when the mixture starts to become thick! Please be careful not to thicken it too much. A Fall Dessert Persimmon Tiramisu Mousse A Fall Dessert Persimmon Tiramisu Mousse
I bought a big batch of my favorite mascarpone to make tiramisu, but I wanted to combine it with seasonal fruit too.Once you add the gelatin to the blender, blend as soon as possible. This is not that sweet, so please adjust the amount of sugar depending on how sweet the persimmons are and to your taste. If you don't intend to spoon on some puree, make the mousse on the sweet side. Please adjust how much you whip the heavy cream to your taste too. You can make it creamy or fluffy. English Dessert: Blackberry Fool English Dessert: Blackberry Fool
I used some berries that I picked to make a fool that suits my taste. The basic fool is a mixture of whipped cream and puréed fruit. Mascarpone, cream cheese, or custard may be added sometimes. It has many different variations.Step 6: It looks pretty if you stop mixing at a point where it still has a marble pattern instead of being combined all the way.Remove blackberry seeds by straining them to make them smooth. Use plenty of the fruit sauce.Use 2/3 of the sauce or all of the sauce, depending on how sweet and fruity you want your fool to be. The leftovers can be stored in a freezer.Adjust the amount of sugar to your preference, or the kind of fruit you're using. Recipe by KT121 cookpad.japan -

Mango, Rum & Yogurt Dessert Mango, Rum & Yogurt Dessert
Your probably thinking to yourselves right about now, OMG Sophie another Mango recipe!! ufff hehehehe. I know, I know but I still have a few more Mangos to get through and well, why not share with you another wonderful recipe that has Mango in it. This one is so yummy because it has yogurt, honey and rum & blueberry topping. 🙂 Have I gotten your attention yet with this one? I hope so 🙂I have a really close friend who just the other day told me that she doesn’t like Mangos :(. It was so funny because I had just posted the Mango Smoothie and I was on the phone with her when she saw my post and right away voiced in a really hilarious way “I don’t like Mangos SORRYYY”. hehehe I was quite surprised because I have known her for more than 10 yrs. and this I think is the only topic we have never discussed…Tropical Fruit. 🙂I am sure that there are more people out there who do not care for this fruit, just like I don’t care for bananas..:) I think, no I know when I stopped eating bananas, I was very young and heading into the kitchen when I saw my mom who was about to feed my baby brother at the time take a banana and mush it all up (just remembering the site makes my face all cringy) and started to feed him. I’m not exactly sure what happened it could have been the smell of the banana or the site hmm. but that was the last time I ate one. 🙂 Till this day if I see someone eating a banana I walk the other way or go into another room..yep that’s what I do. 🙂Anyway, Foodzesty
