Ingredients

  • dry ingredients
  • 2 1/4 cupall-purpose flour
  • 1 tspbaking soda
  • 1 1/2 tspcornstarch
  • 1 1/2 tspsalt
  • 1 cupbutter melted but not pure liquid)
  • 3/4 cupgranulated sugar
  • 1large egg + 1 egg yolk
  • 2 tspvanilla extract
  • 1 cupmilk chocolate chips
  • 1 cupbrown sugar

Steps

    Combine flour͵ baking soda, cornstarch and salt

  2. 2

    On a separate dish combine brown sugar granulated sugar and butter and with an electric hand mixer or a whisk beat until well mixed, then add eggs and vanilla and mix then combine with the dry ingredients and then fold in chocolate chips

  3. 3

    Next put the dough in a closed container and leave it in the fridge for atleast an hour

  4. 4

    Now get a baking sheet and line it with non stick paper and form your cookie dough balls about 2 tbls big now the higher you roll the cookie the thicker it'll be if you don't want it too thick flatten the balls a little you can also add a little more chocolate chips for presentation

  5. 5

    Set your oven to 350 and leave in there for about 9-11 min or until golden brown.

Great recipe. Nice and soft and chewy and doesn't feel greasy considering the the Cup of butter. Very close to the cookies I like to get at a near by cafe a lot. Thanks so much for sharing this recipe.
