Ingredients

  • 1 boxDuncan carrot cake mix
  • 1 cuporange juice
  • 1 cancream cheese frosting
  • 2Blood orange
  • 1eggs
  • 1cooking oil

Steps

  1. 1

    Juice one blood orange and de-seed juice

  2. 2

    Make carrot cake mix as directed, but sub water out for orange juice

  3. 3

    Bake cake as directed on back of box

  4. 4

    Empty cream cheese frosting into a big mixing bowl

  5. 5

    Zest blood orange to taste into frosting, i used 2 tablespoons

  6. 6

    Cut second orange in half and squeeze about 2 tablespoons of juice into frosting

  7. 7

    With mixer, blend 4 minutes or until mixed well

  8. 8

    When cake is completely cool frost with blood orange frosting and enjoy

  9. 9

is it a cup of regular orange juice? what am u doing with the juice from 1st blood orange if I'm only using 2 tablespoons from 2nd blood orange. what do i do with the egg and the oil? this makes no sense
