First brown ground beef. til fully cooked. drain well.

add butter to same pan. add diced onion cook til soft. add beef. soup. and stir heat through

then. in a deep baking dish. place beef mixture in bottom. add tator tots over top.

place in oven until tator tots are brown. put cheese on. bake until melted.

take out oven. let rest for 10 minutes.
