Ingredients

2 lbGround turkey, venison or hamburger
2 cloveGarlic, minced
2 tbspcanned chipolte, seeded and ground up. (save leftover in bag in freezer)
2 tbspTomato paste
1 tbspCumin
1 tbspCoriander
1 tbspPaprika
1salt and pepper to taste
1 smallred onion, finely chopped
1Green apple, finely chopped
1/2 cupApple cider
1Chicken stock, just until covered
1Couple pinches of cinnamon
1Bay leaf
1Sharp cheddar cheese

Steps

Brown hamburger with garlic. Add chipotle and cook until you smell the chipotle.

Add onion, apple and seasonings.

Stir in tomato paste until you can smell the tomato.

Add cider to de glaze the pan. Then add stock and bay. Simmer until apples are tender
5

When serving, top with cheddar cheese
