Grease and flour insides of a 9x5 loaf pan

In large mixing bowl, stir together: flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, and spices

Add oil, water, pumpkin, and eggs blending at medium speed until mixture is smooth.

Stir in dates and walnuts and turn into prepared loaf pan

Baked in a preheated 350° oven for 1.5 hours

Loosen sides from pan with small spatula and turn bread out onto cooling rack
- 7
Turn loaf right side up (loaf will have a crack in the top)

Cool completely and wrap in plastic film.

Can be stored on the counter for a few days or refrigerated for up to two weeks.
