Wash the rice,add 2tbspns veg oil and salt to taste and water 11/2 the container you've used to measure your rice

Cover and let it cook.

Do not interfere with the rice

In a pan,cook the chicken in a little water and add salt

In a separate pan,put oil,and add the onions

Fry till golden brown in colour

Add garlic and ginger and stir well

Add the chicken pieces and cook for a while to let the flavor infuse

Add curry powder,jeera and (black pepper) optional

Cook for 4-5min

Add the plain yoghurt

Stir, cover and let it cook

When ready garnish with coriander leaves

Serve hot with plain rice
