cook pasta large pot boil from cold add salt and olive oil once simmering. stir often

fry thinly sliced garlic clove in fry pan with olive oil. once golden discard garlic. fry bacon in the oil until crisp

toast pine nuts in 150°F oven for 2 mins do not let them burn

drain pasta leave small amount of water and put back in pan

mix pasta with 4 tablespoons of pesto bacon and nuts
- 6
serve with freshly grated parmesan
