Ingredients

  • 400 gchicken
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 1 tspGinger and garlic paste
  • 150 gfinely chopped tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • 50 mloil or ghee
  • 2 cinnamon stick
  • 2-3 cloves
  • 2 green cardamon
  • 1-4 table spoonturmeric powder
  • 1-4 table spooncoriander powder
  • 1-4 table spooncumin powder
  • 1-4 table spoonkashmiri red chilli powder
  • 1-4 table spoongaram masala powder
  • to tastesalt

Steps

  1. 1

    Heat ghee or oil in a kadai

  2. 2

    Add cinnamon, clove, green cardamon and sauté for 1/2 min

  3. 3

    Add onion and sauté till golden brown

  4. 4

    Add garlic ginger paste and saute it for 2-3 minutes

  5. 5

    Dissolve all the powdered masala into a bowl & add to the kadhai

  6. 6

    Stir it for sometime & cook untill fat leaves

  7. 7

    Add chicken pieces seasoned it cover it & cook for 5 min

  8. 8

    Add a cup of water cover it again and simmer it till the chicken is fully cooked

  9. 9

    Sprinkle garam masala and garnish it with coriander leaves and serve hot
