Pick the ewedu off the stalks,wash it very well

Add water to cook it in a wide saucepan,to allow you have enough room to whisk.

Bring it down and blend,blend with little amount of water.

Boil water with potash in it,pour in the blended ewedu.

Leave it to boil till is slightly darker with bubbles popping up.
- 6
Use the whisk vigourously in small/tight circular motions.this is to work out the elastic nature of the ewedu.
