Ingredients

  • 1/2 cupchopped and blanched spinach (palak)
  • 1/2 tspcornflour
  • 1/2 cupfresh cream
  • 1/2 cupgrated processed cheese
  • salt and  black pepper as required

Steps

  1. 1

    Combine the cornflour and ¼ cup of water in a bowl and mix well. Keep aside.

  2. 2

    Blend the blanched spinach in a mixer to a smooth puree. Keep aside.

  3. 3

    Heat a broad non-stick pan, add all the remaining ingredients, including the cornflour-water mixture and spinach puree, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes or till the mixture becomes thick, while stirring continuously.

  4. 4

    Serve with pav pieces or roasted paneer.
