Ingredients

  1. 2 beetroots
  2. . 1 tbsp kashmiri chilli
  3. 1 tsp. red chilli
  4. . 2 tsp jeera(cumin seeds)
  5. . 1/2 tsp methi dana(fenugreek seeds)
  6. . 3/4 tsp raai (mustard seeds)
  7. . 2 tbsp vinegar
  8. . 1 tsp sugar
  9. as needed curry leaves
  10. as needed. oil any

Steps

  1. 1

    Peel, wash and chop beetroot. cut as per your preference..

  2. 2

    Take a kadai. heat oil put on low flame..once hot put kashimiri and red chilli and saute few sec. note not to burn the masala(if i feel oil is too hot off the flame and add the masalas)

  3. 3

    Lightly roast the zeera, raai and methidana and grind.. add this powder to the oil and saute well.

  4. 4

    Put vinegar,sugar, salt and curry leaves.saute

  5. 5

    Add the beetroot and saute well...adjust salt,sugar, vinegar and spice according to your taste.

  6. 6

    Instant achar is ready..
