Palak Roti With Egg Roast

Palak roti: blanch palak in hot water for 1 min and thn put in cold water(this is done to maintain it's green colour).

Puree palak with onion,zeera,aamchur powder.

Take aata, add salt and knead dough with the palak puree and required water.

Roll chapati and cook and apply ghee on both sides..

Egg roast: take oil in a pan,put oil and add onions and saute for few sec add chpd garlic and tomato. saute till little mushy.

Add all the pdrs. kashmiri chilli, red chilli, turmeric, coriander, fennel, cumin and aamchur. saute well..add little water to not burn the masalas.

At this step you can add more water if you want the egg roast to be gravy type...I kept it dry..add the boiled eggs with small cuts on top and bottom.(this is done to gets masalas inside the egg).

Lastly add kasuri methi and saute well...garnish with coriander leaves.

This both roti and egg roast is favourite of my kids..and it's easy and fast to prepare..
