Bake potatoes until soft

While potatoes are baking, cook bacon, chop into small pieces and set aside

After cooling, peel and cube potatoes

In large soup pot, combine butter and flour to form a roux

Cook roux for 1 minute, then whisk in milk and chicken broth

Add potatoes, bacon and cheese

Add sour cream

Season to taste with salt and pepper
