Ingredients

15 to 20 mins
4 to 5 servings
  • 1 cupBasmati rice -
  • 1 cupboiled corn
  • 1/4 cupCoriander -
  • 1/4 cupMint -
  • 1/4 cupChopped onion -
  • 1/4 cupChopped tomatoes -
  • 1/2 tbspGinger garlic paste -
  • 1 tbspGreen chilli paste
  • 1 tspTurmeric powder -
  • 1 tbspGaram masala powder -
  • 1 tspCumin seeds -
  • as per tasteSalt
  • as neededOil
  • as neededGhee or butter

Steps

15 to 20 mins
  1. 1

    Soak basmati rice for 1 hour.

  2. 2

    In a mixture take coriander and mint. Grind it with the help of little water.

    In a pressure cooker take oil and and ghee. Then add cumin seeds to it.

  4. 4

    Then add chopped onion and saute for 1 min.

  5. 5

    Add chopped tomatoes and again cook for 1 min.

  6. 6

    Now add ginger garlic and green chilli paste, turmeric powder,garam masala,salt and coriander paste to it. Saute for 1 min.Add corn to it.

    Then add soaked rice to it.

    Now add required water and cook till 2 whistle.
