Ingredients

4 persons
  1. 1/2carrot, cut in roundels
  2. 1/2carrot is used for it's mouth, tree branch and feet
  3. 1big leaf of green cabbage
  4. 1/2cucumber, cut in roundels
  5. 1/2cucumber, cut in strips
  6. Few pieces of cucumber for head and neck
  7. Some shredded purple cabbage
  8. Some whole spinach leaves for feathers
  9. 1 cloveto make an eye
  10. Some salt and pepper to sprinkle on top

Steps

  1. 1

    Carrot, cucumber were washed nicely, then sliced and kept in refrigerator for half an hour before arranging

  2. 2

    Purple cabbage was first washed and then shred it

  3. 3

    Spinach leaves were washed nicely but gently, then pat dry them

  4. 4

    Now start making the peacock style salad, first place a piece of carrot for it's beak

  5. 5

    Then place a piece of cucumber and pierce a clove to make an eye

  6. 6

    Then place a long piece of cucumber below the small piece

  7. 7

    Then place the big cabbage leaf

  8. 8

    Then arrange the cucumber strips with some distance in between

  9. 9

    Now make a tree branch with a piece of carrot and also the legs with some pieces

  10. 10

    It will look like this

    Now arrange the spinach leaves for feathers, little overlapping on one another

  12. 12

    Start filling the gaps in between the cucumber strips, with shredded purple cabbage

    Now place the cucumber roundles on the spinach leaves, one cucumber slice on one spinach leaf
