
Cooking Mama Slow Cooker Roast Beef

Season beef and sprinkle over thyme. Sear beef in a hot frying pan.

Spread onions, carrots and crushed garlic over the base of the slow cooker. Place seared beef on top and pour over beef stock.

Cook on high for 4 hours or cook on low for 8 hours.

tip... keep a check on your beef. Cooking time will vary depending on how you like your beef cooked!

When the beef has cooked remove from the slow cooker and set aside to stand for 15-20 minutes before carving.

Using a slotted ladel remove the onions and carrots and keep warm. Turn slow cooker to high and add gravy granules and gently whisk. When the gravy has thickened and is slightly bubbling turn slow cooker to warm until you are ready to serve.
